Komatsu Forklift commences direct operations

On 1 August 2009, Komatsu Forklift Australia Pty Ltd officially opened its doors across Australia creating history as Komatsu Forklift’s first factory owned distribution company in its 56 years of producing forklifts.

The materials handling company was purchased in April this year by Komatsu Ltd, Japan adding to its global mining, earthmoving and forklift family.

Komatsu Forklift Australia’s 11 branches are strategically positioned throughout Australia providing the market with a complete sales, hire, service and parts package.

Customers can be confident that their equipment and its maintenance are provided by the manufacture, with various solutions and recommendations provided based on Komatsu’s experience and knowledge.

Komatsu’s quality, reliability and innovative ethos will be the force to ensure customers experience the Komatsu advantage.

Shaun O’Brien, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Komatsu Forklift Australia says the Australian market will be introduced to a wider range of Komatsu equipment.

“The market can expect a couple of exciting product launches over the next couple of months.” But Komatsu’s equipment is not limited to forklifts,” O’Brien says.

“Our product range also includes PM truck mounted cranes , Kevrek cranes and Baumann Sideloaders.”

“The team is very proud to be apart of the global brand with an enthusiastic vibe around the branches.”

Over the coming months the Komatsu brand will be noticed on the road as the new mobile service vehicles cross town, the strong Komatsu blue will be positioned on the branch buildings and information will be convenient to access through the new website.
