Logistics provider Agility opens new state of the art Malaysian facility

Global logistics provider Agility has relocated its Penang warehouse and office to better meet the growing demand for integrated logistics services in Malaysia.

The new state of the art facility, with approximately 60,000 square feet of warehouse space and 20,000 square feet of office space, was officially inaugurated today.

On hand for the unveiling were Agility customers, business partners and YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang.

Speaking during the ceremony, Agility Chief Executive Officer, South East Asia and Malaysia, Morten Damgaard, said that the commissioning of the new facility was a testament to the successful expansion of the company's business in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.

Agility will offer a comprehensive portfolio of distribution, storage and supply chain services from the new location, which also features 4,100 standard pallet capacity, bonded and non-bonded storage areas, air conditioning, humidity control, CCTV and alarm surveillance.

The company's Shah Alam office will remain the headquarters for operations in Malaysia, and will continue to provide a wide range of logistics services.
