CHEP joins Australian Logistics Council

CHEP Australia has announced that it has joined forces with the Australian Logistics Council, the peak representative body for the Australian freight transport and logistics supply chain sector.

According to President of CHEP Australia & New Zealand Phillip Austin, the company is delighted to be welcomed as a member to further the work and objectives of the Council.

Having a unique integrated position in so many of Australia's supply chains, CHEP is joining the ALC to help make a practical contribution to national discussions that impact the industry, its business and those of its valued customers.

Managing Director of the Australian Logistics Council Michael Kilgariff said that CHEP adds a valuable new dimension to their membership profile and reinforces ALC's whole of supply chain focus.

As an equipment pooling company, CHEP offers managed, returnable and reusable packaging solutions and has operated in Australia’s growing logistics sector since 1956.

With 13 full and 30 associate members from the freight transport and logistics supply chain, service organisations and associations, the Australian Logistics Council works to ensure Australia has safe, secure, reliable, sustainable and internationally competitive supply chains.
