Supply chain software giants merge

International supply chain management software and trading partner network technology vendors Accellos and HighJump Software have decided to merge, creating a supplier with 11,000 customers in 23 countries with operations in North America, Asia and Europe.

The combination of the two companies creates a product range that is aimed to meet the needs of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and logistics service providers to manage complex order fulfilment cycles and collaborate with supply chain partners.

The merger of Accellos and HighJump brings together a set of technologies, including networked trading partner connectivity, warehouse management, transportation management, and route delivery.

The merged company will operate under the name HighJump and continue to use the Accellos brand for ‘mid-market supply chain execution technology’. Accellos founder and CEO Michael Cornell has been appointed CEO.

“Our collective supply chain execution product portfolio is one of the broadest and most adaptable in the industry, and covers the unique needs of large enterprises, 3PL, and SMB,” Mr Cornell said. “HighJump’s trading partner network is a model for the power of a next generation ‘connect-once, access-all’ network that can provide significant value to Accellos customers. Additionally, HighJump and Accellos share a common culture rooted in a relentless focus on developing innovative products and strong customer support.  This focus allowed us to add over 1,100 new customers in 2013 alone.  We think this combination will further allow us to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and partners in the future.”
