Schneider Electric named in Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 ranking for first time

Global energy management and automation specialist Schneider Electric has entered the prestigious Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 rankings for the first time in the company’s history. Gartner’s rankings identify supply chain leaders and highlight their best practices for heads of supply chain and strategy organisations.
Schneider Electric has moved from #34 in the 2015 rankings to #18 this year, making their debut in the exclusive Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 group.
Annette Clayton, Executive Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Schneider Electric observed that the Top 25 ranking was outstanding recognition for the company, their Life Is On brand strategy and their employees who are dedicated to excellence and delivering on the promise made to customers.
A key objective for Schneider Electric is to ensure their global customers benefit from their tailored supply chain approach. Ms Clayton added that Gartner’s Top 25 rating for 2016 confirmed the company’s position in the market as well as their commitment to providing customers with best-in-class supply chains that meet their unique challenges.
Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 rankings identify the top performers based on two main components, business performance and opinion, with business performance assessed on the basis of public financial and CSR data. The companies considered for the Top 25 rankings are selected by Gartner analysts from a master list of companies on the Fortune Global 500 and Global 2000.
Entering the Top 25 global rankings for the first time, Schneider Electric was previously rated #10 in the 2015 Gartner Supply Chain: Europe Top 15 report published in September 2015.
