Turnbull Govt welcomes Brexit White Paper and Ciobo visits London

Steven Ciobo, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment will visit London to strengthen Australia’s trade, tourism and investment relationship with the United Kingdom.
Steven will meet with UK Secretary of State for International Trade, the Rt Hon Liam Fox MP, to discuss the state of Brexit negotiations.
The Turnbull Government welcomes the Brexit White Paper that confirms a free trade agreement with Australia remains a priority for the UK. Australia has been preparing for negotiations through the Trade Working Group established in September 2016.
Steven  will attend the inaugural Australia-UK Leadership Forum, which will bring together leaders from government, business, academia and the arts, to deepen the relationship between our countries.
The UK is Australia’s second largest source of total foreign investment, valued at $481.4 billion in 2017. In London Steven will launch a report with the UK’s Minister for Investment, the Rt Hon Graham Stuart MP, which captures the spirit and potential of the Australia-UK investment relationship.
