Coles set to optimise operations with new ERP system

Coles Group has announced that it has selected SAP to help transform its digital operations across procurement, human resources (HR) and its business processes.
Coles is implementing intelligent enterprise resource planning (ERP) with SAP S/4HANA, along with SAP Ariba and SAP SuccessFactors, to gain new insights, streamline and automate its HR and procurement processes and make life increasingly easy for its customers and team members.
Employing more than 115,000 team members across Australia and working in partnership with over 7,000 suppliers – including thousands of Australian farmers – Coles Group has a broad operating environment. Its digital transformation will focus on increasing consistency of its processes, removing duplication and supporting delivery of more efficient services for its people, suppliers, partners and customers.
