First Australian facility for leading global logistics provider

An international leading logistics services provider will develop its first 13,000sqm warehouse facility in an Australian capital city.

LOGOS has commenced development for LF Logistics, at its Marsden Park Logistics Estate in Sydney, extending its partnership into the Australian market.

Having recently developed a three-storey, 102,197sqm facility for LF Logistics at its Wujiang FOHO E- commerce Hub Logistics Center in China, LOGOS has started on the Marsden Park facility inclusive of a multi-level mezzanine.

Darren Searle, LOGOS’ Head of Australia and New Zealand said the company is very pleased to be extending its partnership with LF Logistics for their first facility in Australia.

“We look forward to working with LF Logistics to deliver this new facility and welcome them to the Estate alongside existing customers Orrcon Steel, EBOS, Lyppard, Valleyfresh and eStore,” he said.

LF Logistics partnered with property and supply chain firm TM Insight on the operational design and procurement of the new facility. TM Insight will also act as the project manager on behalf of LF Logistics.

Greg Amos, LF Logistics’ Head of Australia said its new Australian operations is backed by its extensive logistics experience across a range of industries in Asia.

“Marrying the strengths and expertise of the two companies, this new facility marks a strong start for our Australian operations as we build a greater presence and network across the country,” he said.

Adam McDonald, Director at TM Insight said the building will be fitted out with an extensive multi-level mezzanine to increase storage capacity, while maximising footprint.

“This new warehouse is designed around the fulfilment needs of LF Logistics’ clients, while also allowing LF Logistics to expand as they grow their presence in Australia,” he said.

LF Logistics has committed to a long-term lease on the facility, which is scheduled for completion in August 2020.

Marsden Park Logistics Estate is owned by the LOGOS Australia Logistics Venture (LALV), a partnership established in late 2014 between LOGOS and its capital partners to acquire and develop prime logistics estates across Australia.
