National transport and logistics leader, CRT Group has recently been awarded the 2007 Australian Freight and Logistics — National Operator Award.
The award was one of six that was presented at the 18th Australian Freight Industry Awards, hosted by the Victorian Transport Association (VTA).
CRT Group CEO, Cameron Dunn acknowledged the significance of the award which recognised the most outstanding Transport, Distribution and Logistics business of the year.
“There have been significant changes within the transport and logistics industry over the past decade, which have required providers to be responsive and flexible,’ he says.
“CRT Group is proud to receive the AFI award, which acknowledges our demonstrated commitment to developing best practice in areas such as innovative technology, process improvement and OHSE.”
Dunn says one of the key factors in the success of CRT Group since its establishment over 25 years ago.
“We may introduce the most innovative technology, implement the most effective processes and utilise the best equipment however, CRT Group’s true strength is our people,” he says.
“The success of CRT is a living testament to what can be achieved with a passionate and enthusiastic team. CRT focuses on adding value to our customers through process improvement rather than simple cost-cutting measures.”
“We have a strategic, long term outlook which enables us to provide innovative solutions for our customers, representing real and ongoing value for them,” Dunn says.
