CargoWise™ edi, a leading provider of integrated international supply chain logistics management systems, has been selected to implement a global enterprise solution for DSV Air & Sea, the multinational freight forwarding division of DSV A/S.
A true global logistics player, DSV A/S has 19,000 employees in more than 50 countries with a worldwide annual turnover of 4.8 billion euro.
DSV Air & Sea Division has an annual turnover of 1.2 billion euro and employs almost 2,700 people, operating at the leading edge of product development within the transport industry and is expanding its position among the leading and most profitable transport businesses in Europe.
CargoWise edi will be supplying DSV Air and Sea Division with its ediEnterprise system, a highly modular enterprise-class system designed to automate and streamline the operations and management of engaged forwarding, customs brokerage, contract warehousing and international logistics systems.
The integration of its front and back office systems will be global, and begins with its operations in Canada and Germany.
