Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer, both part of the Italian Bolzoni Spa group, the European market leader in the forklift attachment industry, have decided to join forces to service the Australian market more efficiently.
The two brands will be promoted and distributed through two separate sales offices based in the existing facilities of the Bolzoni Spa group subsidiary in Sydney.
With long experience in the forklift and attachment industry, Bob van der Wild has been appointed as Meyer Product Manager and will be responsible for the business development of the Meyer products throughout Australia.
Peter Beaumont, Managing Director of the Australian branch says the good news is that the project provides the opportunity for both Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer to take advantage of the same parts and service facilities in the Australian operation.
“Joining resources and investments allows us to be more efficient and to provide a better service to our customers around the country,” Beaumont says.
To accomplish this plan, Meyer GmbH has decided to close the cooperation with the company Apex Associates, which has been distributing the Meyer products in Australia in recent years.
