Schaefer Systems continues its Australian growth

Schaefer Systems International recently announced the appointment of two new Schaefer Distributors — one in Australia and one in New Zealand.

In New Zealand they have appointed Crown Equipment the manufacturer and supplier of both electric and internal combustion Lift trucks.

According to Mr Alan Clark, Director of Sales & Marketing Australasia, New Zealand is an exciting new territory for Schaefer where they have previously installed a large car parts warehouse, a rack clad building and provided many thousands of MGB’s to Auckland Council.

“Crown Equipment brings a wealth of experience of trained sales staff who now can offer a turnkey solution of both lift trucks and quality racking and associated equipment,” Clark says.

“It was noticeable at the launch of the Distributorship at the Cold Storage Conference in Auckland, that the clients were encouraged in having a viable alternative for the supply of their Materials Handling needs,” he says.

In Australia they have appointed Schaefer Sydney – who has a long pedigree in selling storage systems to both the commercial and industrial sectors.

“It is exciting for Schaefer to now have the skills and market experience of Graham Eastick and Martin Bates, both who are formerly from Dexion, joining Schaefer Sydney,” Alan Clark says.

“Schaefer Sydney is conveniently located near our premises it opens the opportunity to focus on the local market more.”

“We view this as an important step in growing the business, as the larger foundation will allow more emphasis to be placed on winning medium to large contracts and increase Schaefer’s market presence,” he says.
