Bob’s Discount Furniture has implemented RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management (WMS) in its distribution centre.
Bob’s, has gained visibility into inventory and achieved improvements in labour productivity and throughput since going live with the RedPrairie solution in November, 2007.
Bob’s 250,000-square-metre distribution centre supports 30 stores.
The facility ships direct to stores, to drop-off points for home delivery and to third-party cross-dock facilities.
Productivity gains have been made through improved picking and putaway processes in combination with less manual activity.
