Tradegate has announced that major shipping company, NYK Line (Australia) Pty Ltd, had joined its Smartimports service for electronic import delivery orders.
NYK Line will utilise Smartimports to send electronic delivery orders to importers and their agents as well as send the required eIDO to the container terminal operator.
“Tradegate is delighted that NYK Line have selected Smartimports,” says Peter Blanchard, CEO of Tradegate.
“Smartimports will allow NYK Line and its customers to reap the benefits of electronic communications and reduce the overall costs of cargo release.”
NYK Line is currently testing with 1-Stop and plan to go live with the service during May.
