Liebherr has released a video showing the construction of one of the world’s largest excavators for Thiess at the Lake Vermont coal mine.
The R9800 is one of the largest pieces of moving equipment found on the mine site, weighs in at around 810 tonnes and has a shovel capacity of 42 cubic metres.
