GetSwift logistics platform surpasses one million deliveries

Global delivery logistics platform GetSwift Limited has announced that it has recently powered over one million deliveries, more than half of which occurred within the last four months.
GetSwift is based both in NY and Melbourne, where it has its headquarters, and is listed on the ASX last year. The Chairman – Bane Hunter – is a former Viacom executive and the CEO – Joel Macdonald – is a former AFL football player.
GetSwift has been helping Aussie companies such as Red Rooster with their delivery processes, allowing consumers to track deliveries and talk to the courier. They’re also the technology provider helping Little Caesars do delivery in Sydney – a service they don’t provide in the US.
The GetSwift platform is currently used in 57 countries and 410+ cities across 38 different industry verticals, a jump of 94 cities in the last four months. The company hopes to have a presence in over 700+ cities in 2017 as it enters into the fulfilment phase of its strategy.
“GetSwift continues to show accelerated and wide scale growth. In a very short period of time, we have reached our one million delivery milestone at a pace quicker than forecast,” said Executive Chairman, Bane Hunter. “We’re incredibly pleased with the company’s growth to date as we continue to sign on new clients and expand our reach geographically.
“The strategy of stealth expansion of our reach, acceptance and applicability globally is paying dividends. We have our sights set on growing and increasing delivery volumes aggressively across the 57 countries, and 410+ cities we are in presently in addition to continuing to capture new geographic markets. The company will continue to scale by continuing to offer a product that provides our customers with a very cost-effective, commercially proven logistics software solution for their businesses regardless of size or vertical they may be in. GetSwift plans to revolutionise delivery logistics around the world.”
