New leader for CBRE’s South Australian Industrial & Logistics business

CBRE has appointed Jordan Kies to lead its Industrial & Logistics business in South Australia.

Jordan is assuming the role from long-standing leader David Reid to allow him to fully focus on upper end Industrial & Logistics (I&L) brokerage pursuits, working closely with CBRE colleague Jon Nitschke.

CBRE’s Senior Managing Director for South Australia, Alistair Laycock said that David has led the team for over 10 years and is recognised as one of Adelaide’s leading I&L brokers, with an extensive knowledge of the sector and expansive client network, built over an 18-year career at CBRE.

“Jordan assuming the team leadership role will allow David to be completely client and deal focussed at a time when the I&L sector has emerged as a preferred asset class for a growing number of domestic and international investor groups,” he said.

Jordan joined CBRE’s South Australian business 10 years ago, initially in a valuation role and most recently as a Director within the I&L Capital Markets team.

“Jordan’s progression into the leadership role and David’s move to fully focus on client pursuits is a ‘win win’ for our business, highlighting our focus on advancing our up-and-coming talent and bringing a fresh approach to the operational structure of our South Australian I&L business, while ensuring that we continue to enhance our client service offering and market leadership in the I&L sector,” Alistair said.
