ASCI announce Queensland leadership changes

The Australasian Supply Chain Institute (ASCI) has announced new leadership for its Queensland areas of business.

The new appointments and volunteer roles include Justin Butcher, now the Queensland Chapter President, James Scotland now the Chapter Vice President and Craig Bennett, now the Chapter Secretary.

Butcher has 18 years of experience, delivering supply chain outcomes for Australian mining and manufacturing companies.

Butcher says the ASCI Queensland chapter will offer a unique experience in supply chain logistics.

“Our Queensland Chapter Committee is a team prepared to promote increasing importance of global and local supply chains to economic and social outcomes,” Justin says.

Chapter Vice President James Scotland has had a career history in senior management in widely different industries including logistics, insurance and education.

Chapter Secretary Craig Bennett has worked in various supply chain roles for global and domestic companies.

According to ASCI President, Alexandra Riha, the leadership additions will further support the rapid growth of business in the Queensland area.

“We congratulate and thank Justin, James and Craig for accepting their nominations … and look forward to supporting them to drive the ASCI vision,” Alexandra says.
