DP World announces changes to Australian leadership

Conference

Multinational logistics company DP World has announced changes to its Australian executive leadership, with current staff set to expand their existing roles.

Current Chief Executive Officer Glen Hilton will take on an expanded role as Chief Executive Officer and MD of the DP World Asia-Pacific and Australasia.

Andrew Adam will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of DP World Australia following several years as Chief Operating Officer of the business.

Adam has over 25 years of experience in executive roles within the industry, including the container terminal and rail intermodal industries.

Glen Hilton says Adam’s appointment will help to build on DP World’s existing business infrastructure.

“Andrew’s understanding of both DP World’s Australian and Global businesses is unmatched, and he has played a critical role in ensuring the ongoing strength and efficiency of our Australian business over recent years,” Glen says.

Adam says he will continue to service the industry as part of his new role.

“I am buoyed by the ongoing strength and success of our DP World Australia – the benefits of which will continue to flow to Australia’s businesses, consumers and the broader economy,” Adam says.
