$6M section of Truganina purchased by baker

Heaven’s Bakehouse will establish a new production facility in Truganina, after the baker purchased part of the Axiom Industrial Estate.

The family owned company has purchased 2 Carmen Street for $6 million and will relocate production to the site from its original base in Keilor East.

The 3955 sqm development features split-level office and high-clearance warehouse space, with five container-height roller doors and 55 parking spaces.

CBRE’s Tom Murphy, Ricardo Cappelletti and Fergus Pragnell managed the sale on behalf of the vendor, Al Raziq Investments.

Murphy says the purchase was made at an ideal time in the economy.

“Market conditions are incredibly strong at the moment; low interest rates, coupled with general buoyancy around the economic COVID-19 rebound, are driving the prices of vacant land and existing buildings alike,” Tom says.

The Axiom Industrial Estate is just off the Western Freeway, roughly 19km west of the Melbourne CBD.
