Australia’s largest same day delivery company, Sherpa, has appointed former Border Express State Sales Manager Anthony Johnson as Head of Sales.
The appointment coincides with Sherpa’s rapid growth across Australia.
After launching in 2014, the Australian tech delivery disruptor caters to the last-mile delivery needs of retailers like Woolworths, BWS, Apple and Chemist Warehouse.
Anthony says he’s excited to work directly with Sherpa’s e-commerce and B2B clients to service its growing customer base.
“Sherpa’s intuitive SAAS based booking and delivery App platform, coupled with stellar customer service systems, is seeing Sherpa change the game and I’m thrilled to be involved with such a big-hitter of the industry,” says Anthony.
Anthony’s sales experience was honed during his time at Startrack and then Border Express, where he led successful acquisition teams.
“Sherpa’s on-demand, same-day delivery propositions are market-leading and changing the way businesses and consumers experience online shopping,” he says.
CEO Duncan Brett adds that Anthony’s passion and strong relationships within the Freight and Logistics fields will be key to Sherpa’s growth.
