Krost Business expanding Melbourne operations

Kross Business

CBRE says Krost Business has signed a 10-year lease for a facility within Charter Hall’s MidWest Logistics Hub in Truganina, which is due to be completed in the coming weeks.

The office furniture manufacturer and supplier will expand its operations with the facility being 7956 sqms.

It’s relocating its Victorian DC from Altona North into Warehouse 1 on Felstead Drive within the estate.

CBRE’s Tom Murphy, Fergus Pragnell, Ricardo Cappelletti, and Moshe Greengarten negotiated the tenancy on behalf of Charter Hall while Charter Hall’s Ian Parry and Daniel Nguyen oversaw the leasing transaction.

“MidWest Logistics Hub sets a new benchmark in warehouse and logistics facilities incorporating state-of-the-art design features and sustainability initiatives,” Fergus says.

“Providing easy access to greater Melbourne, the CBD and the Port of Melbourne, it’s a perfect fit for Krost and its growing Victorian operations,” he adds.

CBRE says the MidWest Logistics Hub base is Krost’s second Charter Hall facility, alongside its 8170 sqms manufacturing and warehousing site in Sydney.

It notes the Vaughn Construction is building the MidWest Logistics Hub, which is the last master-planned logistics estate of scale between Truganina and the Port of Melbourne.

The property can accommodate 9000 pallets and features two loading docks, six on-grade roller doors and 500 sqms of corporate office space across two levels.

Krost was established in 1989 and has positioned itself as the premier office and commercial furniture provider in Australia.
