It says it will also provide financial support to any of its employees who have been affected by the floods.

“Toll has a long and proud Australian heritage, which represents our biggest operations,” he adds.

“The leadership team and I feel strongly that Toll has a responsibility to step up to support the community and our people.”

The logistics company says it will offer employees impacted by the floods up to $2500 in assistance as well as paid leave and support with recovery.

It notes its team members are working hard alongside customers to support flood-impacted communities while keeping vital supplies moving.

“It’s events like these when I am especially proud of Toll Group’s Toll Helicopter team who have been involved in heartening and inspiring rescues during the recent floods,” Thomas says.

The company says it has expanded support services by deploying the AICH AW139 from Townsville and the Army Crash Response Helicopter from Oakey.
