Charter Hall partners with Morsl to promote industry wellbeing

Charter Hall

As part of its campaign to promote health and wellbeing in the industrial and logistics sector, Charter Hall has partnered with Morsl.

Morsl is a fully automated self-service café providing fresh and healthy workplace options.

“Good nutrition is the foundation of health and wellbeing,” says Charter Hall Industrial & Logistics CEO Richard Stacker. “By integrating Morsl into a facility, our tenant customers will enhance the personal health and wellbeing of their employees, boost morale and job satisfaction, improve employee productivity and contribute to a happier, healthier industry.”

Morsl offers a curated range of 1000-plus fresh food and drinks including ready to eat meals, sandwiches and snacks.

“Morsl was founded to solve the challenge of accessing fresh and nutritious food in the workplace, which was convenient and available at all times of the day,” says Karla Borland, CEO and Founder of Morsl.

“During COVID, our business pivoted to support essential workers across the industrial & logistics sector,” she adds. “In an industry where long hours and shift work is common, the Morsl markets now play a critical role in supporting employee health and wellbeing.”

Charter Hall has had its first tenant customer sign up to Morsl, with aluminium manufacturing business Capral implementing a Morsl café in its Huntingwood (NSW) warehouse facility.

“We saw Morsl as a much better option than traditional vending machines due to the quality of the food on offer, the ability to be able to offer fresh food options and the flexibility of options,” says Barry Lunn, Capral Divisional Manager, Building Systems.

“Going forward, we will be incorporating Morsl’s offering into our development assets and across our national portfolio,” Charter Hall said in a statement. “This initiative complements our wellbeing strategy, as well as our partnership with Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds, a not-for-profit providing mental health support and education across the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries.”
