Biography
James Baulderstone is the CEO of National Intermodal Corporation, the Federal Government business enterprise responsible for delivering an integrated network of intermodal precincts along Australia’s east coast in support of the Government’s Inland Rail Project and further investment in the upgrade of Australia’s critical supply chain.
James has more than 30 years of international experience in major infrastructure developments covering energy, utilities, resources, and transport industries. He has been responsible for managing major integrated interstate energy hubs and leading and developing large international joint venture energy terminals in Queensland and NSW.
With Honours degrees in Science and Law, James spent more than a decade at Santos, including roles as Corporate Vice President and Vice President Eastern Australia, where he oversaw the integrated operations across the eastern seaboard.
As the CEO of National Intermodal, James is working with the broader logistics industry, property developers and major freight customers to develop a suite of independent and interconnected intermodal precincts in NSW, Victoria, and Queensland to assist in ensuring Australia’s supply chain is efficient and resilient and able to meet the challenges of the future for the benefit of all consumers.
