ASCO Australasia relocates to Welshpool

ASCO Australasia

Materials management and logistics company ASCO says it has combined its Perth regional office and supply base and relocated it to a new location in Welshpool.

It says the new complex has a 4400 sqm warehouse with high-bay pallet racking, a fire suppression system, 4000 sqm outside laydown space, and modern office facilities.

It adds that it is one of the key industrial suburbs in the city and has excellent access routes to ports, the airport, key client locations and supply routes with enough space on the new site to potentially expand the complex.

“We are delighted to move into such a fantastic site where we are ideally located to support our current and future clients,” James Stuart, CEO of ASCO Australasia, says.

“The new site specifications are high-end, allowing us to provide a range of services from the base, including 3PL, materials management and transport services,” he adds.

He says the move also supports ASCO Australasia’s expansion plans in the Perth Basin.

“There are an exciting number of opportunities in Perth, and I look forward to watching our operations continue to grow in the region,” he says.

ASCO Australasia notes it employees more than 30 people across its four supply bases in the country.

It adds that it provides materials management, onshore supply base, transport and logistics and marine supply base services to the energy, resources, and infrastructure industries across Australia.

ASCO is headquartered in Aberdeen in the UK while operating from more than 70 locations worldwide and employs 1400 people.
