RWTA holding 80th Conference and Exhibition

The Refrigerated Warehouse and Transport Association (RWTA) is proud to host its 80th Conference and Exhibition from Sunday August 21 to Tuesday August 23, 2022, in Sydney.

The event will be held at Marriott Pier One Sydney Harbour, and its theme will be “Achieving a Future Ready Supply Chain in an Era of Continuing Disruption.”

It says its aim is to provide attendees with access to knowledge, experiences, and networks in the Temperature Controlled Industry to assist them to create an informed future for them and their organisations.

The key conference speakers will be Christine Corbett – AGL/ Australia Post; Marianne Kintzel – Executive Officer of the Refrigerated Warehouse and Transport Association of Australia; Jacob Mahoney – General Manager Energy Solutions at Flow Power; Mark McKenzie – CEO of APACMA; Matthew Ott – President and CEO of the Global Chain Alliance; Kim Skubris – communications specialist; Troy Bryant, Head of Development for ANZ, LOGOS; and Brett Wiskar – Chief Future Officer of consulting firm, Wiley.

The three-day-long event will start on the Sunday with the Convict and Champagne Expedition at Campbells Cove at the Rocks. While in the evening, there will be cocktails followed by a welcome dinner at night.

Over the Monday and Tuesday, there will be panel discussions, presentations on up-to-date topics by guest speakers, concluding with the Gala Dinner and an announcement of the National Winner for the Frank Vale Award, emerging leader in the Cold Chain.
