MEGATRANS2022, Australia’s largest logistics expo kicks off in Melbourne next week. The three-day-long event will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre from Wednesday August 24 to Friday August 26.

This expansive expo features more than 120 exhibitors, an industry conference with presentations from leading figures in the logistics and materials handling sector, and Melissa Horne, State MP for Ports and Freight will speak at the Victorian Government Industry Breakfast.

Among the 36 guest speakers talking at the event, will be Ben Franzi, General Manager at AusPost, My Therese Blank, Head of Oceania Market, Regional Ocean Management at Maersk, Peter Anderson, CEO of the Victorian Transport Association, Pat Tomasiello, Senior Regional Director at Dematic, Gerry Cleary, Director, Solution Consulting at E2open, and Paul Eastwood, Managing Partner at Argon & Co.

Some of the more than 120 exhibitors showcasing their latest products, services and innovations include Conquest, Ofload, Colliers, Flinders Port Holdings, Diverseco, Damon and Bestrane.

The themes for each day will be Re-imagining the Global Supply Chain (Wednesday August 24), The Rise of E-commerce (Thursday August 25), and Sustainability and Safety in the Supply Chain (Friday August 26), and there will be key notes, panel discussions and an industry conference.

On Thursday night, there will be the much-anticipated Mercury Awards and Bulk Handling Awards Gala Dinner, which will star nominees and finalists for 2020 and 2021.
