Global supply chain consultancy TMX Transform has appointed an ex-PwC and Woolworths supply chain heavyweight who is well-known within the industry both domestically and internationally as its Strategic Advisor.
Linda Venables joins TMX after three years with PwC, two of which were spent as the consultancy’s first ever Chief Supply Chain Officer.
“The collective intellectual property and end-to-end capability with TMX is impressive,” says Linda.
“My aim is to help TMX clients ‘see around corners’ and to prepare for what lies ahead. With changing customer demands, emerging environmental and social legislation, and a constantly changing risk landscape, future-proofing supply chains has to be front of mind for executives and boards.”
Prior to moving to Australia, Linda worked in Europe and the UK for 3M, MasterFoods, deployed ERP solutions across Nestlé Europe, before moving into the third-party logistics sector with DHL.
In Australia, Linda has held senior roles in supply chain for Woolworths and, as Chief Logistics Officer for Metcash, transformed the grocery and liquor wholesaler’s supply chain.
“Linda’s appointment further strengthens our two core values – supporting our people, and our customers,” says CEO of TMX Transform Travis Erridge.
“Her diverse working career, extensive industry experience, and passion for mentoring talent will be highly valuable. We’re fortunate to be able to attract such great talent.”
Linda is experienced in designing and leading large-scale business transformation and in program management, with more than 25 years of experience deploying automation systems throughout various organisations. She is in the top 10 globally in Supply Chain Digital’s Most Influential Women in Supply Chain.
Business Chief ranked Linda second in the top women in supply chain leadership in the Asia-Pacific region. She is based in Queensland and recently started with TMX, reporting to CEO Travis Erridge.
