Register before State Conference 2024 begins

With State Conference 2024 kicking off at Silverwater Resort on Sunday March 17, the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) is encouraging those intending to attend to register as soon as possible.

“We’ve had a fantastic response to the Conference year with almost 200 delegates already registered where they will hear from leading transport industry stakeholders from government, regulators, operators, and industry suppliers around our theme of Future Freight Landscapes,” says VTA CEO Peter Anderson.

“In the challenging trading environment and at a time when transport operators and suppliers are busier than ever, this is a terrific outcome, and a credit to VTA members and industry participants.”

He says the VTA is especially encouraging the younger and next generation of industry leaders to attend and inviting operators and suppliers to consider booking now for those that have left registering to the last minute.

Among the presenters confirmed to address delegates are Commonwealth and Victorian roads, transport and freight ministers, and their opposition shadows, senior representatives from state and national road, safety and freight authorities, infrastructure bodies, and supplier representatives covering the major prime mover, equipment, and technology manufacturers:

  • WA Labor Senator and Senate Rural Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation CommitteeChair, the Hon Glenn Sterle
  • Victorian Roads & Road Safety and Ports & Freight Minister, the Hon Melissa Horne
  • Shadow Victorian Treasurer, Brad Rowswell
  • Australian Signals Directorate First Assistant Director-General, Dr Derek Bopping
  • NHVR CEO, Sal Petroccitto OAM
