TGE director confirmed as Annual Women’s Lunch speaker

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) is accepting registrations for the always popular Annual Women’s Lunch with Team Global Express (TGE) Director of Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) confirmed as a guest speaker.

The event will be held on Friday May 03 at Malvern Town Hall where Heather Bone will be one of the featured speakers to address guests.

“Since 2016 the Annual Women’s Lunch has grown to become one of the most popular and best-attended events on the VTA’s events calendar,” says VTA CEO Peter Anderson.

“The lunch is a key part of the VTA’s advocacy for increasing participation rates among women in transport, and fostering inclusive discussions around how the industry can better support women in freight and logistics roles.”

Heather Bone is a highly respected transport industry executive with more than 25 years’ experience in transport and logistics, renewable energy, alternative fuels, and environmental sustainability in Australia and internationally.

As well as her role with Team Global Express, Heather is Chair of the Australian Logistics Council’s Sustainability Committee and sits on the National Freight Industry Reference Panel.

“Storytelling is what sets the Annual Women’s Lunch apart from other events and we’re thrilled that Heather is taking time to share her story with our guests this year. We look forward to sharing other speaker information over the coming weeks,” adds Peter.

The lunch is being held from 12.30-3.30pm on Friday May 03 at the Malvern Town Hall, 1250 High Street, Malvern.

Registration includes a sumptuous two-course meal and beverages, along with other entertainment.
