For the first time ever, there will be the MHD Sustainable Warehousing Award, which will be handed to one of eight eligible nominees with only three entry spots remaining.
This is related to the MHD Sustainable Warehouse competition, encouraging businesses to showcase their green facilities.
To become an eligible nominee, a business simply needs to send a press release related to its sustainable warehouse to the MHD team to publish as a news story on the MHD website.
The press release should include:
- 300 words
- A high-resolution feature image with dimensions of 1500×1000
The warehouse can either be a facility that’s been retrofitted with eco-friendly solutions or is a new facility that’s recently been built or is under construction, with these features incorporated into its operations.
The judging panel will consist of the Prime Creative Media Events team, who will examine the entries and decide who is worthy of this unique award.
One lucky winner will be announced at the Mercury Awards dinner gala on Wednesday September 18, which will take place in Melbourne during the evening of the first day of the largest logistics conference in Australia, MEGATRANS.
There have been five entries so far, including GPT Group’s Apex Business Park, CEVA Logisitcs’ Kemps Creek warehouse, Stockland’s Melbourne Business Park, Cold Xpress’ Rowville facility, and Silk Logistics’ Perth facility.
