MEGATRANS, Australia’s largest logistics transport, supply chain, and materials handling exhibition event, returns to Melbourne next month.

The event will take place from 18-19 September 2024 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

An event sponsor, Geotab, is poised to make an impact with its fleet management solutions designed to revolutionise the transportation and logistics sectors. The company’s exhibit highlights its commitment to driving fleet asset data for efficiency, cost control, safety, and sustainability.

“MEGATRANS offers an exceptional platform for us to connect with industry leaders, partners, and customers. It will give us an opportunity to showcase innovative telematics tools that can equip fleets of all sizes to leverage data to identify and target potential areas of improvement,” says David Brown, Associate Vice President, APAC, Geotab.

“We aim to educate attendees about the benefits of our easy-to-install telematics, robust EV capabilities, and the value of our open platform that integrates seamlessly with third-party systems.”

Biennially hosted by Prime Creative Media, MEGATRANS will spotlight the industry’s pivot towards key priorities – future fleets, zero-carbon warehouses, traceable supply chains, and cold chain solutions.

Geotab’s focus on sustainability is evident in its suite of tools designed to minimise environmental impact.

Its EV telematics solutions offer in-depth insights into battery health, energy usage, and CO2 emissions. Additionally, its Green Fleet dashboard and Electric Vehicle Suitability Assessment (EVSA) provide fleet managers with crucial data to make informed decisions that reduce carbon footprints. Geotab’s fuel management solutions and driver behaviour report further support efforts to cut fuel consumption and emissions.

“Geotab is a global leader in connected transportation solutions and connects over 4 million vehicles worldwide” David adds.

“We take pride in leading the EV telematics space, with capabilities that surpass basic vehicle tracking to include in-depth insights into vehicle performance and sustainability metrics.

“Additionally, our open platform offers unparalleled flexibility, enabling seamless integration with various third-party systems creating an entire ecosystem under one platform. We also want to emphasise how fleets enhance productivity, automate operations, compliance, and improve fleet profitability with advanced telematics solutions.”
