Fluent Cargo has paired up with DP World CARGOES to offer Easy Shipping Tracking to customers, as global shipments continue to be susceptible to disruptions and delays. Fluent Cargo, known as the ‘Google Maps for Freight’, will provide its simple, easy-to-use central shipment tracking platform for DP World CARGOES expansive carrier network.

Fluent Cargo’s central, easy-to-use portal to track shipments will be available to more than 70 ocean carriers, more than 80 air carriers and more than 1100 parcel trucks or couriers in the DP World CARGOES network.

DP World’s digital service CARGOES provides solutions that support shippers with tracking to ports around the world, helping solve challenges in the supply chain that create inefficiency and slow down trade.

Fluent Cargo will build on its track record of data accuracy and cargo network connectivity to provide tracking by shipment for air and ocean by consumption with no lock-in contracts. Fluent Cargo’s tracking portal removes segmented data and manual, tedious and costly processes that are prone to errors and prevents serious problems from occurring by identifying pain points and addressing them directly. Real-time tracking information uses carrier integrations, milestones and shipment progression, saving costs by centralising data agnostic of the carrier, service provider, mode or region.

“At DP World, we combine unmatched expertise with our world-class global infrastructure to benefit our clients”, says Pradeep Desai, Group Chief Technology Officer at DP World.

“With 10% of world trade moving through our network, we’re committed to offering best-in-class integrated global capabilities and bespoke solutions to our customers’ needs. We’re excited to partner with Fluent Cargo to strengthen their tracking capability, providing customers with the up-to-date and relevant information on shipments via ocean or air.”

“A lack of unified origin-to-destination tracking for freight is a common problem for organisations, who work without a global standard in terms of sharing and collaborating data,” says Archival Garcia, Fluent Cargo CEO.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with an industry leading organisation to reach as many customers as possible to more conveniently and efficiently access up-to-date information on the location and progress of their cargo easily without cumbersome lock in contracts.  In the ever changing cargo logistics ecosystem, we want to provide simplicity and flexibility.”
