Linde Material Handling Australia recently decommissioned five R16HD Series 115-02 Reach Trucks from a long-standing customer who purchased them in 2006. For nearly two decades, these dependable machines have been integral to the company’s success, each logging over 50,000 hours of operation.
The Linde R16HD Series 115-12 reach truck is a heavy-duty premium–class truck, often the first choice for high-bay warehouses. Equipped with clear-view fixed triplex masts, tilting fork carriages, and integral side–shifts, these reach trucks offer uncompromising quality.
Operating daily in double and occasionally triple shifts, these reach trucks have been operating in the customer’s chillers, excelling in sub-zero temperatures.
“These reach trucks were originally designed for optimal performance over 10 years, typically reaching around 20,000 hours,” says Mengxin Zhang, Technical Training & Product Support.
“However, thanks to consistent maintenance throughout their lifespan, these machines have remarkably surpassed 50,000 hours and continue to perform exceptionally well.”
