DHL Supply Chain Australia (DHL) is now offering SME businesses access to its premium e-commerce fulfilment network in Australia.
Known as the DHL Fulfilment Network, the service includes scalable warehousing and last-mile transport especially tailored to the needs of small and midsized e-commerce businesses, with unique opportunities for access to global markets and unlock growth opportunities globally thanks to DHL’s international reach.
Customers can join the network quickly and with no establishment costs to access a service that has previously been reserved for significantly larger scale businesses.
This multi-user network solution allows especially for smaller, fast growing businesses to benefit from DHL’s global logistics capabilities, offering benefits including a resilient global warehouse and transport network, sustainability focused infrastructure and advanced data security.
The high-speed nature of the service results from DHL’s capability to quickly receive and store stock, then pick and dispatch goods as required by e-commerce customer’s customers.
Additionally, DHL’s track-and-trace system provides visibility across all warehouse fulfilment centres and carriers in one place.
“The offering is a great opportunity to accelerate the growth of Australian e-commerce ventures,” says Steve Thompsett, DHL Supply Chain Chief Executive Officer ANZ.
“DHL Supply Chain has traditionally been a strong match for large-scale enterprises requiring bespoke warehousing and transport services in sectors such as retail, life sciences and healthcare and technology.
However, we’ve implemented a standardised process that creates opportunities to work with, and assist the growth, of small to medium-sized businesses while offering the same level of expertise, service quality and global reach.”
