You can now apply for Round 1 of the Quad Clean Energy Supply Chain Diversification Program. Grants will fund research and development projects and feasibility studies to develop, diversify and reduce vulnerabilities in:

  • solar photovoltaic
  • hydrogen electrolyser
  • battery supply chains.

Projects must be delivered as joint projects between Australian and Indo-Pacific organisations. Organisations in India, Japan and the United States of America can also be additional project partners.

The Australian Government has committed AU$50 million to this program. Up to AU$25 million will be available under this round, with grants ranging from AU$100,000 to AU$2.5 million.

The Program was originally announced by the Quad – Australia, India, Japan and the United States – at the May 2023 Leaders’ Summit. It supports the implementation of the Quad Principles on Clean Energy Supply Chains – a foundation for engagement on clean energy supply chains in the Indo-Pacific.

We are holding information sessions about the program and applications process. Our final session is on Monday 9 December at 3:00-4:00pm AEDT. Find out how to register for the 9 December information session.

Applications close at 5:00pm AEDT, 10 February 2025. To access the guidelines and apply, visit Quad Clean Energy Supply Chain Diversification Program – Round 1.
