WiseTech Global developer of logistics execution software CargoWise, announced it has agreed to acquire ImpexDocs, provider of a suite of Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions to centralise, digitise and automate international trade workflow.
ImpexDocs is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and is being acquired from Acme Trade Group. Completion of the acquisition is subject to certain conditions precedent, including regulatory approval.
Established in 2003 by Manish Desai, ImpexDocs has clients across Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. ImpexDocs’ comprehensive trade software suite is a unified digital platform for export supply chain executives to manage international trade processes and documentation, from sales and purchase orders, through to shipping and compliance documentation. It also provides visibility of the status of orders, shipments and contracts.
“The acquisition of ImpexDocs brings proven GTM capability to WiseTech’s solutions as well as a team of domain experts in global trade execution and compliance, ” says Vlad Bilanovsky, Chief Execution Officer of WiseTech Global.
“This will help accelerate ongoing product development within digital documentation – one of our six priorities to extend the CargoWise ecosystem.”
ImpexDocs’ functionality will become part of the WiseTech family of compliance, trade and logistics products. ImpexDocs’ customers will continue to access ImpexDocs’ solutions. ImpexDocs will remain under the current leadership of Manish Desai.
