Maersk signs a 10-year ocean and integrated logistics service agreement with a furniture brand, Castlery, as they are trying to enter new markets while strengthening its existing footprints. This extends Maersk’s strategic partnership in Castlery’s global expansion.

The partnership with Maersk is crucial for Castlery’s continued growth in the coming years as they scale globally. As part of the agreement, Maersk will provide end-to-end logistics solutions, ocean freight, intermodal transportation and distribution, as well as strategically-located warehouses in key markets.

According to the press release by Maersk, this long-term collaboration with Maersk also contributed to the optimisation of Castlery’s supply chain operations and inventory management, ensuring a seamless delivery experience.

With the introduction of Maersk’s new network under Gemini Cooperation, Castlery is also set to benefit from enhanced reliability and improved delivery leads. This allows for leaner inventory and better cost efficiencies.

“We have worked hard to create an integrated one-stop logistics service model that unlocks value across Castlery’s supply chain. We are thrilled to continue supporting their growth ambitions in different parts of the world by playing our part as a reliable logistics partner to ensure Castlery’s furniture reaches their end consumers timely and seamlessly. This new agreement signals the success of our partnership, which we are confident to grow further over the next decade.” says Elaine Low, Area Managing Director of Maersk Southeast Asia.

In addition to the partnership, Maersk also provides Eco Delivery solutions for ocean freight and inland via electric trucking, aligning with the company’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
