Kärcher introduces a wider than ever sweeper option and launches a new stationary pressure cleaner range focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and usability.
Industrial and commercial cleaning requires efficiency, durability, and ease of use. Kärcher’s newest KM 100/120 sweeper focuses on efficient, durable, large-scale cleaning while keeping total cost of ownership in check. At the same time, the brand expands its commercial pressure cleaning offer with the introduction of an efficient and robust stationary range.
Expanded capabilities
With the widest sweeping width in the Kärcher range, the KM 100/120 R Bp 4SB sweeper, equipped with four side brushes, is engineered for large-scale cleaning. Despite its expansive reach, it maintains a compact profile, measuring just 1.2m wide and 1.6m long, ensuring maneuverability even in tight spaces.
A key enhancement lies in the floating main broom, now featuring an improved chevron bristle design, significantly boosting debris collection. The sweeper’s high-dump debris container, with a 1.53m dump height, allows for effortless emptying, all while the operator remains comfortably seated. Furthermore, intuitive controls, coupled with a high, comfortable seating position, enhance visibility and simplify operation.
Four side brushes for increased coverage
The new four side brush model extends the cleaning path to 2.28m, nearly doubling efficiency compared to the standard two-brush model. This added functionality makes it suitable for cleaning large areas quickly, reducing both cleaning time and operator fatigue. The brush attachment can also be folded up to navigate through narrower spaces, allowing access to areas as small as 1.3m wide.
Industries that require frequent dirt and light debris removal from large areas, such as warehouses, entertainment precincts, rail stations, car parks, and public areas, are expected to benefit from this sweeper’s capabilities.
Operator comfort and practicality
Beyond performance, the KM 100/120 R Bp 4SB was designed with operator comfort in mind. Features like a high seating position, intuitive controls, and tool-free brush exchange make operation and maintenance more convenient. With an area performance of up to 13,800 m²/h and zero-emissions operation, this sweeper provides a highly effective and efficient cleaning solution.
Addressing industry needs
Kärcher’s dominance in the cleaning solutions landscape extends far beyond the impressive sweeping capabilities of machines like the KM 100/120 R Bp 4SB. Their dedication to meeting customer needs is equally apparent in their pressure cleaning line with the introduction of a new cold water stationary pressure cleaner range. The introduction of this new range reflects industry demand for cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Cold water stationary pressure cleaners
Designed with efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in mind. A key feature is the slow-running 4-pole brushless motor with automatic pressure relief and dual water/air cooling. This motor technology, coupled with a commercial brass crankshaft pump with ceramic-coated stainless-steel pistons, is built for durability.
According to Nathan Briggs, Head of Product – Oceania at Kärcher, this launch marks a shift in affordability within the premium segment.
“This is the first time Kärcher has launched Super Class variants at these price points. With our German motor technology, coupled with our new modular crankshaft platform, consumers can expect strong performance and reliability along with low total cost of ownership,” Nathan explains.

The ST Classic range is intended for industries such as transport, vehicle fleets, plant and equipment cleaning, and repair facilities – essentially any sector with a wash bay available. The design incorporates an easy press trigger gun for improved ergonomics, 1-turn Easy, lock thread attachments from 2025, an easy-access water filter, and an adjustable pressure dial for straightforward operation.
“We live in a progressive market where cost-performance ratio and total cost of ownership considerations have never been higher. These next generations of stationary pressure cleaners are designed to be durable, efficient, and simpler to maintain than previous generations,” Nathan states.
Sustainability and efficiency
Kärcher has focused on minimising cleaning time, incorporating brushless motor design for greater efficiency, and reducing machine footprints to enhance shipping and storage efficiency. Modular design further lowers total cost of ownership by enabling shared components across different product lines, making production and servicing more efficient.
Water conservation is another consideration. The new patented nozzle technology increases impact performance by up to 40 per cent compared to other iterations, allowing users to achieve high cleaning power with less water consumption. This can help businesses reduce operating costs while maintaining effective cleaning performance.
Maintenance requirements for these models are minimal. Users are advised to check the inline filter and nozzles, ensure correct water supply volume, and depressurise the system between uses. An annual check-up by a Kärcher service dealer is recommended for longevity.
Feedback from Kärcher’s pilot customers on the new range has been positive.
“Our pilot dealers have appreciated the improved pump performance and modular nature in its design,” says Nathan.
“This coupled with our motor technology means we are confident that we have a strong and competitive range in this category.”
Looking ahead
In a landscape demanding both performance and practicality, Kärcher’s new cold water stationary pressure cleaners and the KM 100/120 R Bp 4SB sweeper stand as testaments to their commitment. By focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, Kärcher delivers the reliable, effective cleaning solutions that businesses truly require, ensuring they can tackle any challenge with confidence.
