Aramex CEO, Othman Al-Jeda, steps down after 31 Years

Aramex announced the resignation of its Group Chief Executive Officer, Othman Al-Jeda, citing personal reasons.

Aramex, a leading global logistics and transportation solutions provider, announced the resignation of its Group Chief Executive Officer, Othman Al-Jeda, citing personal reasons.

The Board of Directors has appointed Chief Financial Officer Nicolas Sibuet as Acting Group CEO.

Captain Mohamed Juma Alshamsi, Chairman of the Board, expressed gratitude for Al-Jeda’s 31 years of dedicated service, acknowledging his instrumental role in shaping Aramex into a global logistics leader.

“His leadership, dedication, and unwavering belief in the potential of this company have been instrumental in shaping Aramex into the global logistics player it is today,” Alshamsi noted.​

Al-Jeda reflected on his tenure, stating, “I am grateful to have been a part of this extraordinary company for the past 31 years… I have full confidence in Aramex’s future and the leadership of Nicolas Sibuet.”

Nicolas Sibuet, who joined Aramex as CFO in January 2022, brings over 30 years of experience across the logistics, shipping, oil & gas, and aviation industries. He expressed appreciation for the Board’s confidence and looks forward to leading Aramex through its next growth phase.
