OneStop has announced the expansion of its partnership with DP World through the implementation of its OneStop Modal and Vehicle Booking System at DP World’s new Coode Road container park in the Port of Melbourne.
The facility, set to launch on 12 May 2025, spans over 25,000 square metres and is designed to support landside logistics operations, including dedicated truck parking, container stacking, and storage services.
OneStop Modal will serve as the operational backbone of the container park, facilitating accurate and efficient container transactions. The integration of OneStop VBS aims to optimise truck scheduling, reduce congestion, and enhance servicing capabilities. Additionally, the deployment of these digital solutions will provide seamless visibility through OneStop’s broader ecosystem, including Gateway and ComTrac, enabling improved transparency, coordination, and control across the supply chain.
This development follows the successful implementation of OneStop’s systems at DP World’s Fisherman Island container park in Brisbane, which went live in June 2024. The Coode Road facility’s adoption of OneStop’s technologies marks another step towards DP World adopting OneStop Modal across its Australian operations.
The Coode Road container park will complement the nearby Melbourne Logistics Park adjacent to DP World’s West Swanson Terminal. While MLP focuses on full container services, the Coode Road facility will concentrate on empty container handling, providing survey, repair, and wash facilities, as well as truck parking. This strategic positioning aims to relieve pressure on MLP during peak operations and enhance overall efficiency in container logistics.
The expansion of OneStop’s partnership with DP World underscores a shared commitment to driving innovation and efficiency in Australia’s supply chain infrastructure.
