Toll Group has announced its acquisition of Transolve Global, an Australian-based international freight forwarder.

Toll Group has announced its acquisition of Transolve Global, an Australian-based international freight forwarder specialising in wine, bulk liquids, and perishables.

This move aims to enhance Toll’s Global Forwarding division by integrating Transolve’s specialised expertise into its global logistics network.

Transolve will continue to operate under its own brand within Toll’s Global Forwarding division, maintaining its focus on sectors requiring specialised handling, such as wine and food & beverage. The acquisition is expected to provide Transolve’s customers with access to Toll’s extensive international network, offering a broader range of logistics services.

Rachael Budd, CEO of Transolve, will lead the new business unit as Senior Vice President Transolve and join the Toll Global Forwarding leadership team.

She expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating: “This acquisition amplifies our capabilities and expands our reach, enabling us to deliver more value to our customers in the wine, bulk liquids, and food & beverage sectors.”
