$108.2 million acquisition of refrigerated logistics provider

Lindsay Australia has acquired temperature-controlled logistics provider SRT Logistics, with operations set to commence on 1 July.

The company announced the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100 per cent of SRT Logistics for a purchase price of $108.2 million.

“SRT is a quality business that has created a compelling position in a market with positive growth characteristics,” said Lindsay CEO, Clay McDonald.

“The Acquisition demonstrates disciplined execution of our “Grow the Network” strategy.

“It will be a transformative event for Lindsay Australia and our shareholders through the creation of a truly national service offering for our customers.”

SRT Logistics owns six operating sites, 145 modern trucks and 100 dual electric-diesel rail containers. With an award-winning track record in safety and service as a logistics provider, the acquisition aligns with Lindsay Australia’s strategy to expand its presence and services in regional and rural areas.

SRT Logistics’ services includes:

  • Multi-modal transport.
  • Trans bass strait shipping.
  • Cross docking and distribution.

According to ASX Market Announcements, SRT is forecast to achieve estimated revenue of $137.6 million.

The acquisition is expected to complete on 30 June 2025.
