Logistics provider StarTrack, part of the Australia Post Group, has secured a new three-year Enterprise Agreement with its workforce, following extensive consultation with employees and unions.
The agreement, endorsed by 97 per cent of voting employees, includes a 4 per cent annual wage increase for the first two years, followed by a 3 per cent wage rise and a 1 per cent increase to superannuation in the final year.
Australia Post Executive General Manager People and Culture, Sue Davies, said the agreement provides “market leading wage growth” and reflects the critical role StarTrack employees play in meeting customer and community expectations.
“Our priority was to create a sustainable, clear and fair Agreement that continues to support our people as they deliver for our customers,” Davies said.
The new arrangement provides a degree of certainty for one of Australia’s largest logistics workforces at a time when the parcel delivery sector faces ongoing cost pressures and growing competition. StarTrack operates across the country and is a key player in last-mile and time-sensitive freight.
The Enterprise Agreement will now be lodged with the Fair Work Commission for approval.
