Linfox has announced a new long-term national transport contract with DuluxGroup, reinforcing a decades-long partnership between the two companies across Australia and New Zealand.
Under the new agreement, Linfox will manage the delivery of DuluxGroup products from distribution centres to retailers and trade customers across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
To support the rollout, Linfox is investing in a new high-productivity fleet, including 16-pallet semi-trailers in each state. These will be used to service a wide customer base — from major retailers such as Bunnings to Dulux’s own Dulux Trade and Inspirations Paint outlets, as well as construction sites of varying scale and complexity.
“Network stability is critical, and this long-term partnership provides exactly that,” said Mallory Tucker, Linfox Resources and Industrial National Transport Manager. “Our flexibility and scale allows us to provide tailored solutions for DuluxGroup’s specific needs.”
The new deal builds on a long-standing relationship, with Linfox having previously handled the delivery of DuluxGroup’s powder coatings, automotive paints, and heavy-duty industrial products — including coatings used on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Linfox’s own fleet.
Linfox said its ability to adapt to diverse freight profiles and respond quickly to demand changes was key to securing the expanded contract.
“Our adaptability means we can quickly respond to DuluxGroup’s diverse customer base and freight profiles,” the company stated.
The announcement follows the completion of a $12.5 million safety upgrade on the Oxley Highway, aimed at improving transport access and road safety in regional New South Wales.
