DSV has appointed Maciej Walenda as the new Chief Executive Officer of its Contract Logistics division, a move aimed at advancing the company’s global integration strategy and strengthening its end-to-end supply chain offering.
Maciej steps into the role with more than a decade of leadership experience within DSV. Since joining the global transport and logistics company in 2013, he has held several senior positions, including Managing Director for Poland, Executive Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, and most recently Regional CEO for Contract Logistics in Europe. His appointment comes as DSV continues to consolidate operations and integrate new facilities and teams worldwide.
Brian Ejsing, Group Chief Operating Officer at DSV, welcomed the appointment and praised Maciej’s ability to lead through complex market conditions. “We are confident in Maciej’s ability to lead the division into the next chapter given his deep experience and proven ability to mobilise teams and drive results,” Brian said. “On behalf of the Executive Board, I would also like to thank Albert-Derk for his hard work over the past 15 years. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping our Contract Logistics business.”
