FedEx Corp. has launched an enterprise-wide AI Education and Literacy program, introducing personalised, role-based training for team members globally as part of the company’s broader transformation strategy.
Announced in February 2025, the program is designed to build AI fluency across the FedEx enterprise and support employees in applying artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively within their roles.
“The future of business is being shaped by data and AI more than ever before,” says Raj Subramaniam, president and CEO of FedEx Corporation. “As FedEx continues its evolution into an AI-powered enterprise, our people remain at the heart of everything we do.”
“We’re investing in AI education tools to help our team members grow their skills; support safer, smarter work; and unlock new opportunities across the business,” Subramaniam says.
FedEx says the program includes internal training modules covering AI fundamentals and has partnered with Accenture to deliver customised education offerings. Through Accenture’s AI-native training platform LearnVantage, FedEx employees will have access to tailored learning pathways, skill recognition tools, and interactive live training sessions.
Accenture will provide scalable, role-based training designed to support adoption and improve AI literacy across the workforce, based on individual career development stages.
FedEx chief digital and information officer Vishal Talwar says the initiative aims to establish a shared understanding of AI across the organisation.
“We are on a journey to empower our people with AI literacy and the practical technology skills needed to keep driving our business forward,” Talwar says.
“As we create a shared, common understanding of AI internally at FedEx, team members will have access to modules, AI certifications, and mastery opportunities to help grow in their careers,” he says.
Accenture chair and CEO Julie Sweet says the partnership is focused on enabling employees to adopt AI responsibly and drive change.
“FedEx is making supply chains smarter for everyone by putting its people at the centre and providing them with the training they need to thrive in the age of AI,” Sweet says.
“We are excited to partner with FedEx to deliver role-based training that enables its employees to use AI responsibly, discover new ways of working, and confidently drive transformational change,” she says.
