From breakthrough automation projects to transformative leadership and sustainability initiatives, the Mercury awards honour those making a meaningful impact across the supply chain industry.

Presented by MHD Supply Chain Solutions, the Mercury Awards are set to once again recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation and leadership shaping Australia’s logistics, supply chain and materials handling sectors.

Held on Day 1 of the 2026 MegaTrans Expo, Australia’s leading integrated exhibition and conference for the logistics, transport and supply chain sectors, this year’s Mercury Awards gala dinner will take place at Evoque Events in Melbourne on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Bringing together industry leaders, innovators and decision makers from across the country, the awards evening will provide a premier platform for networking, collaboration and celebration during one of the industry’s most significant national events.

Building on the success of the 2024 program, this year’s Mercury Awards feature four returning categories alongside 12 exciting new categories designed to reflect the evolving priorities and innovations within the industry.

Returning Award Categories

  • Best Technology Application Award
  • Sustainability Initiative Award
  • Freight Transport Solution of the Year
  • Supply Chain Innovator of the Year

New Award Categories

  • Supply Chain Leader of the Year
  • Rising Star Award
  • Customer Experience Professional of the Year
  • Workforce Development Award
  • Warehouse of the Year
  • Automation Project of the Year
  • Last Mile Delivery Award
  • Fleet Management Excellence Award (TMS)
  • Supply Chain Transformation Award (Consultancy-led)
  • Warehouse Optimisation Award (WMS)
  • Marketing Professional of the Year Award
  • Supply Chain Excellence of the Year Award (Excellence/overall award)

“We are excited to bring back the Mercury Awards in 2026 with an expanded awards program,” Caitlyn Douglas Prime Creative Media Head of awards and conferences said.

“These changes highlight the growing importance of operational excellence, workforce development, customer experience, automation and sustainability across the sector,” Entries are open to businesses and professionals across the logistics, supply chain, freight, warehousing, transport and materials handling industries.

The Mercury Awards continue to serve as a benchmark for excellence, recognising organisations that are not only achieving operational success but also helping shape the future of the industry.
